The software's various features can be accessed via navigation tabs, found on the upper part of the interface. The Center tab will display your Internet connection's download and upload speed, the occupied bandwidth, the number of defence events, as well as the found suspicious and malicious files. These are illustrated as graphs which are updated constantly.
There are three different types of scans you can perform. The quick scan will be faster and it will search for infected files in the system's vital places and the overall scan will take a bit longer, but it will search through your whole hard drive. Alternatively, you can choose a custom scan, which lets you scan one or more folders of your choosing. Any one of these scans can be started by simply clicking their icons, under the second navigation tab.
Rising Internet Security will constantly monitor your e-mails, USB flash drives, web browsers and many more and it will protect your system from any threat that may come from one of these places. Any of these monitors can be enabled or disabled with a single click from the Defence tab. Here you can find a list of monitors, and each item is accompanied by an Enable/Disable button and a Settings one. Clicking a Settings button will bring up the program's main options panel where you can adjust a monitor's security level, schedule updates, set IP rules and more.

Rising Internet Security gives you access to a wide variety of tools, ideal for protecting your computer against threats that may come from anywhere. The interface makes it easy to find and use them, so it is safe to say that the software is accessible even to a beginner.
Cons
Like most similar software, you can only use it for a limited period of time, after which you have to buy it. Fortunately, the program is not expensive at all. With Rising Internet Security, your system will be constantly protected against any threats, no matter where they come from. It is simple and effective, which makes it a valuable tool.
